Corona proof in 3 steps!

It is well known: an A4 page with all kinds of measures and apps that you have to download for reservations plus an expensive form for the Corona check. We know that things can be done differently, and as an expert in online guest experience, we therefore have good solutions for you. What does work and doesn’t cost too much. In fact, as a GuestCompass customer, the free solutions can be enough! With our Corona solutions we make you Corona proof online in 3 steps.

1. No illegible A4 pages but a clear overview of measures

Most hotels and restaurants use A4 sheets to indicate what they are doing against Corona. That’s fine of course, because you want to let the guest know how much you are doing your best to ensure safety. But the guest does not read it, especially online. 

We are used to providing information in small ‘snacks’. Because we know: too much text is immediately pushed away. We can translate the PDF that is used into an alternative (hopefully temporary) start page, see the example on the right. 

This way, the original pages remain, but instead of the breakfast buffet, there is now a choice for breakfast box A or B. And a form to make a reservation for the gym.

When the Corona measures are no longer necessary, you can easily convert the GuestCompass again.

2. Corona Checklist

Mandatory in the hospitality industry: the Corona Checklist. We offer 2 options, both fit perfectly into the GuestCompass and are ideal for the guest to complete before check-in or before sitting at the table.

Option 1: Free with our own forms

  • In the language of the web app
  • Will be delivered with the standard Corona questions, but can be adjusted as desired afterwards 
  • Comes in via email – not in a database. There can be a filter on the mail

Option 2: an external form from Jotform for € 5,- per month

  • Bilingual, NL / EN, the guest can switch between them
  • Dynamic folding form with question in accordance with Horeca Nederland
  • Is securely stored in a database from which we can provide the data, should the RIVM request it.

No more without obligation to the gym. Order breakfast for in the room. Everything is different…We pay extensive attention to this further on our site, use the buttons to go directly to the pages.

What we would like to give you in brief:

  • Do not use systems that the guest has to download.
  • Sometimes a free version is sufficient.
  • All parties that we recommend on our website are suitable, pay attention to the differences.
